It is very noticable when she gets excited and the pupils are contracting and dialating. The left one is clearly bigger than the right. She is also a bit nuts. She jumps up the side of the wall many times a day at nothing at all and is very mouthy - the only way to describe it would be 'swearing'. This goes on sometimes for hours on end - she runs around and meows violently, this also appears to be at nothing. It is entertaining at times, until she runs into something and nearly knocks herself out. Have had many cats, but this one is like nothing I've seen. Could there be some kind of brain damage?

well my best guess would be damage to or lack of proper development of the eye, as for the possible brain damage, i just think its a very silly kitty and probably nothing to worry about. but i'd say take her to the vets to check on her eyes and ask him about her strange and so-called violent behaviour whilst you are there. Is she simply bored? does she have toys? other cats to play with? do you give her enough attention? - except all of the laughing...

best of luck

some kitty's love playing and if couped up with no friends they go crazy as a human would the pupils well i would recommend a check up at the vet. I'm not sure what is abusive on Q&A however the other problem is and this is from experience my sister's boyfriend ex now, fed their cat a quarter xtc to see what would happen and that was the exact symtoms so could perhaps have taken down some meds that you didn't notice perhaps, hoping you get the solution and that it isn't serious, good luck

The same thing happened to my Persian cat although he is 16 years old and the vet suspected that he had a stroke because his head was twitching aswell. It might well be brain damage but I would take her to the vet to get checked out. On the other hand all kittens are usually a bit mad and usually calm down after a while so she might just be a bit too playfull. I would check it out either way to be sure.

It sounds fairly serious Robin, I'm sorry to say. Take her to the vets. She may be suffering. Good luck.

Brain damage would be my guess. I have a dog with brain damage. He has seizures and doesn't recognize people he's known.

Most likely you should take her to the VET. Ten bucks says she is mildly blind. the reason she meows, wouldn't you be pissed if you couldn't see where you were going? TAKE HER TO THE VET PLEASE
