Porridge...real porridge oats not a substitute. Raw garlic not cooked sprinkled on food once a day. And not forgetting the exercise.
Not many suggestions I know but trying too many can be soul destroying. Try out other suggestions and see what works for you. Mine is the above.
I also grate fresh ginger and chopped garlic and put them into fresh orange juice drink. Good for high blood pressure as well as cholestrol and the digestion..especially the digestion.

Cut out red meat, eggs and cheese. Those foods are very high in cholesterol. Even more drastically, cut out ALL fat in your diet. Stop smoking too, that helps

30 grams of fiber daily in the diet. along with keeping the intake of unsaturated fats high to increase the HDL-C:LDL-C ratio, which is more important for long term health than total cholesterol values.
