check your computer to see the mfr. then go to the mfr site to download new drivers. Check Toshiba. They make many of the Bluetooth devices in Laptops

I had this problem when I had to do a fresh install for windows. The best thing to do is go to your device manager. If you don't know where that is just right click on My Computer and go to Properties. From there go to a tab called Hardware. There is a button called Device Manager. Go in there and there is a list of devices that are on your computer. There is probably a choice with a yellow question mark on it. If there is click on the box on the left. It should expand the list and you can see if there is an option for bluetooth. Double click on it. There should be a button that says Reinstall Drivers. Click on it and a wizard will show up to help you. Click on Yes then Next. The option of Install Automatically should already be chosen. Click Next. It will check to see if it can download automatically. When I did it, it downloaded just fine. I have an HP dv5000 myself.

Regarding transfering from phone to laptop, you have to have a USB wire/bluetooth on both-you can get these at most computers stores. Just tell the sales person and they will help you. Also, go to the official website of your mobile phone, if it is Nokia go to Nokia.com, look up your phone model number, go to enhancements and check out which cable is required for your mobile. You can also use infrared to transfer pictures.
