Marinate them from the night before, that way the flavour sinks into the meat and keeps it moist.

What I use to marinate chops is in a tupperware, drench the chops in soy sauce and Worchester sauce, salt, pepper, a little mustard and a little oregano. Put it in the fridge overnight(it smells great the next day).

Hope this helps and Happy Valentine's Day!!

A mixture of equal parts, soy sauce, sesame oil and rice wine vinegar, an inch of fresh ginger grated, a clove of garlic minced, mix all together and marinate butterfly pork chops over night or put them in the marinade in the morning and cook them that evening.

The basic rule is that the longer you leave them to marinate the better. Why not do it either the night before or first thing in the morning then leave it in the fridge

I marinate them for several hours. But not longer than 6. Toss in some sesame oil, ginger and garlic and a squeeze of honey. They'll come out awesome.

The longer the better, leave marinating in the fridge overnight if you can, this gives it loads of time to absorb into the meat

Overnight in the fridge or at least two hours at room temperature.
But surely not just in soy sauce! Add some grated ginger root and rice wine/dry sherry, garlic and maybe even the smallest splash of sesame oil. You could add a teaspoon of Chinese 5-spice powder - personally I prefer Garam Masala - and my Chinese friends haven't sussed me out.

The longer you leave it the more flavour it will have, overnight is a good amount of time if you leave it in the fridge covered in cling film

Overnight works best in a sealed container!
