I had leg cramps at night too. Lots of water, and I take a calcium magnesium supplement at night with dinner. The occurrence of them has been greatly reduced.

I used to get very bad cramp in my legs, both behind my knees and in my thighs.
I now make sure I get at least 2 litres of plain water a day, and I take 2 magnesium supplements just before bed every night.
Worked a treat for me. I very rarely get them now and if I do, I can usually work out that I either didn't quite drink enough water, or I then did something that dehydrated me (too much caffeine, alcohol etc).

I used to suffer from cramps a lot. It's agony when that happens! Drinking water and exercising to increase blood flow has helped me a lot. Hope it helps you some too.

Sounds like claudication from either neurologic or vascular problems. Also, could be from hypokalemia (low potassium). See your doctor to get checked out for the appropriate treatment.

Yes. Tissue Remedies (sort of homeopathy) will help. See the link: http://tissueremedies.onlinecourse.com/
