First, people lose a 1000 hairs a day( give or take) Since you don't say how you style your hair,( up in a tail, down,in braids etc..)Having such long hair makes it seem like you are losing more than the normal amount. One of the easiest ways to find out if it is hair fall out or pulled out, (as can be the case with wearing you hair up in a tail that's too tight and for long periods of time)Look at your hairs, if it has been pulled out one of the ends will have what looks like a little white ball, that is the hair follicle.( this anchors the hair to the scalp and what the hair grows from) If you don't see it then you hair has been broken off for some reason.( brushing hair when wet will do this big time!) Also if your hair seems to have a bunch of fly aways that is a sign of breakage. Sorry this is so long but hope it helps

Apply the white of a raw egg on the hair for 30 minutes, and then wash it off with a shampoo. A mixture of lemon juice and egg white and oil massage could also be used to strengthen the roots of
hair. More remedies at http://hairthinning.org/ will prevent further problems.

well im a hairdresser and i can tell u that..hair loss is normal and natural..and given the fact that ur hair is so song..u will get more then the average person...HOWEVER- sometimes being under alot of stress can cause hair loss and also lack of vitamins.
if ur concerned u should really seek advice from a physician bc there can be SO many reasons for this..

you have 2 alternatives. the two seek for suggestion from agood homoeopath with out any further postpone. you prefer constitutional scientific care and homoeopathy is truly stable for hairfall. in spite of this, initiate eating Indian Mulberry fruit juice. very stable for hair boost, stay away from hair fall and untimely graying.

It could be that your hair is heavy and it is pulling out because of that... Also, do you notice that you are losing a lot of hair because you see it in a brush or in the drains, or is it noticeable in appearance? It could look like you are losing a large amount of hair because it is long - if it doesn't appear that you are losing your hair (people don't notice by looking at you), then it is probably a normal amount of hair loss that looks greater because you have more hair!

Good luck!

Tension will only increase your hair loss!!!

Go see your doctor!! Hair loss can also be caused from medications, stress, and medical conditions!! I was also losing hair, i went to my doctor (because i was having dizzy spells) and he ran a simple test, and found out that i am hypothyroid.(meaning, that my thyroid is not working properly). He put me on Synthroid, which is a thyroid replacement pill, and now my hair loss has stopped.

Good Luck!!!

See a doctor. Your thyroid gland might be acting up - hair loss is often the first symptom. Or it's a medical condition called Alopecia, which is also treatable.

GO SEE A DOCTOR. If you are eating right and doing all the right things it could be something environmental like lead poisoning.
