The father doesnt see the best interest for the baby.He is imature and acts like a 10 year old, and he is the same age as i am. I want to move out with him so we both have a life a be comfortable with our baby.He doesnt want to move out because he wants to stay with his parents, because he doesnt want to grow up.I put up with alot from him and it's not fair that out of madness he threatens me to take our child away from me.He will never take care of the baby the way i will.He kept on telling me in a month, in two months, in a week he'll move but he never did and now that the baby is on its way, there is nothing set up and i'm stressed out and i want out. I want whats best for our child. He just wants to stay with his parents and have an easy life, but i need to be comfortable and be happy.

Talk to a lawyer there all kinds on the Internet. Just put in child custody and you will get help to find your answers. I take it the child is with you now. Does said father pay his support, does he have visitation, Keep track of your correspondence with him as you may need this in the future if you go to Cort. The lea gal system will push for the two of you to come upon an understanding and make it possible for both parents to be happy with there child. However sometimes the Cort will grant full custody to the mother. Your best bet is to get legal advice and go from there if you can not afford this there are many other ways to get legal aid. I wish you luck and please try to remember there is an Innocent child involved in this mess and what needs to be done is what is best for them not the parents.

I'm not a lawyer but have been thru 2 not so good battles for my kids . Go to a lawyer .. If you can't afford one I think you can call legal aid . Unless your a horrible mom and abusive he can't take them from you . I do believe how ever if at all possible you should let the father be apart of your babies life . My oldest lost their father when they were at a young age . Kids need their dads too .. But i do understand sometimes there are dads out there that kids are better off without .

obviously you two arn't married, rite.
You can go to your local law office and file for sole and phisical custody.
File for both, that way you have complete custofy of the child.
It sounds like the dad wants custody to, so be prepared for court cases.
In most cases, especially if the child is younge, it will reside with the mother, unless she is found to be not able to support and take cae of the child in the way the court deems manditory and necesarry.
If you have a drug problem or an alcolic or have a criminal background, like to party or what not, the dad could very well get custody.
It will be up to the court to decide what is best for the child.

That's a loaded question.
Look at you and then him. Do you deserve the child? Can you fufill all his/her "needs" to help them survive? Do you have steady income?
Do you have a home and tons of love and support to raise this child?
I don't know your circumstances, but I would hire a great lawyer and fight for my child. A mother's love is great and powerful.
But, if you are not prepared to fully raise this child, and he is, then maybe you should definitely step back and figure out what needs to be done.
This site is not the best of places to get the answer you are looking for, and that answer may not be the one you want.

see a lawyer...it is very hard for a man to get custody over a mother...would have to prove you unfit
each city usually has legal aid...it is free...you should check into getting a lawyer that way if you can not afford one and seek their advice
good luck
be cool...
