The best info I can give you is, "Don't buy them!"

Bose equipment has a well-deserved reputation for poor quality sound. It might (might...) look good, but it sounds lousy. Many, many expert reviews will back this up.

Have a listen to speakers from Mission, Kef, Wharfdale, B&W, Tannoy, etc. as alternatives. You will get far more sound for your pound. When it comes to speakers, that is what matters...

The Bose 505 speakers are discontinued items. At the most, $100.00, and that's if u know the seller. Any repairs to these speakers would cost u $$$ because they are "discontinued".
