Since it is blind, it is easy to bump into others and assume you are in love.

People fall into it because it IS blind, and when your eyes open, sometimes its not as you first saw it.
The one time it IS as you saw it, and you stay together and marry.........Wonderful. It just takes a few falls to know HE or SHE IS truly the ONE. No different than falling in a trap, you don't see or getting hit by a train you don't see coming....Or that one in a million chance you get hit by a falling star...Love is no different....It can blindside you...But the long, happily ever after is worth the few blinded falls you may take at first. At least, this is what I see as love being blind.

Love can never be blind, it is an eternal feeling, which just happens. One cannot just fall in love it occurs and takes you to great hights, demands understanding & sacrifice.
What you percieve as blind is'nt love but lust, for which people just fall in. It is a shallow feeling which ends with the act.

"love is blind" means that if you are in a relationship that is hurtful to you (physically and/or mentally), you're blind of the fact that this person is hurting you. and you think that with them saying "i love you" it makes all that hurt go away. and that's why its so easy to fall into. you don't know you are hurting because "love" or what you think is "love" is blinding you from the reality in your life.

"if love is blind why is it that most people find it easy to fall into?"

As you have stated..It's Love that is Blind..That means it doesn't discriminate..It's People who are always misusing the term "Love". while in most cases it's not Love at all. Our desire to find Love can mislead us into bad relationships..So rather than placing the blame on ourselves, It's much easier to just Blame "Love"

I think the statement means it could be anybody not just your "ideal" partner. Most people fall for lust or infatuation and true love grows over a time. Many people are needy or insecure and fall for the first person who looks at them

to answer this question, you'd have to consider the definition of love. love is intangible. what you consider to be love isn't the same for him or her or them over there. i mean, you could chemically pinpoint love (watch the movie dopamine) but you'd still have to determine at what levels you are versus at what level your love object is. can't be done without some clinical study.

love isn't really blind. people make decisions when they're in love that others might see as stupid decisions. and some people crush easily more than others... but is crushing falling in love? infatuation, lust, crushing... are these things love?

Love isnt easy to find. Sometimes its just a really big crush. have you ever thought of that? Maybe it isnt love for whatever it is theyre falling for.
