I usually find the whole thing silly but hes being so sweet!!!

Go somewhere that's pretty casual and nothing romantic. You could get him a card...its a nice thought, but make it a funny card, and not a lovey dovey card.

Do something totally low key. Dont fall into the whole romantic thing just cause its vday and everyone else is doing it. If your not there yet just be chill. If you do decide to get him a card get one that talks about a new friendship or something that isnt way overboard. Because its vday you may feel the pressure to move faster than normal. If he makes you feel uncomfortable and goes overboard remind him that this is brand new and youre not ready for all that. Maybe you could do something fun and active together like snowboarding, bowling, skating, paint ball or surfing. No idea where you live so pick something you'd both have fun doing and is easily accessable. It will keep your minds off the pressure of the day and allow you to relax and just have fun together. That's the whole point, right?

Since you just started dating, I'd get him a silly V-day card, not a gushy one. Also, suggest something like Olive Garden or Chilli's.. A non-formal restaurant. That way its not a huge tab and you can offer to pitch in, chances are he'll decline, but you never know, so make sure you have the cash on hand.

Good luck Hun, I hope you have fun!

depends on how long you've been seeing each other really...do u think deep down that getting him a card for valentines day would b inappropriate? but then if he's asked u out on that specific day then he's sort of got u a prezzie hasnt hew? if you go on regular dates together just step it up a gear...if u usually meet for drinks go for a meal...if you've done that already why not do both. maybe start with a drink, go for a meal and then head to a few nice bars...make a night of it...just enjoy your time together

I think you should go out with him. Well it also depends on how long you have known him for. I know you said you just met him, but does that mean a few days ago of like a few weeks ago. Try it out, take a chace. Go somewhere simple, fun. Maybe dinner.

Get the card, nothing to serious nothing to light..find something you would give to a dear guy friend...thats way your " safe" its not to much. I think as far as Valentines Days goes..pick some place thats not going to be overly crowded, and some where the two of you can enjoy yourselves.

Go for it, see how things pan out! What have you go to loose?
Prehapes a nice meal somewhere you feel comfortable or a trip to pictures?
You only live once so make the most of it take a risk.

Good luck hope it works out for you.

Depends on what you like. Go to dinner or suggest something out of the way for afterwards like bowling or skating. And getting him a card would be fine in my opinion.

Well, yes get him a card and take advantage of him wanting to take you out. You deserve it! I would go somewhere that you both would enjoy regardless. It doesn't have to be too expensive. It's the thought that counts, right?
