Anybody ever have pain behind right ear?
Have had stabbing pain behind right ear for awhile now on & off.....comes & goes......lasts about 10-15 sec....comes & goes 5-15 min. maybe once or twice a wk. at times more frequently.
I do have high cholesterol...am due for Lipid Panel...what scares me most is Carotid Artery Disease.....praying it has nothing to do with this!!
Definately will ask my Dr. about this!!

It could be a low grade ear infection, or possibly a problem with the parotid salivary gland (which is behind the ear). Its much more likely to be one of those than CAD

It could be a migrane. I get sharp pains behind my ears sometimes, and it's never anything serious. Just a headache.

Yessssssss, my pain was caused by a direct hit from an arrow, painful SOB....I have thought seriously about having it removed with voodoo energy.

do you have a cieling fan in the room.my ear gets to hurtting when my ear is hit by the air/wind of my ceiling fan.
