There is a special cream or powder that you can put on yourself before you go or they salon might have some there. Also ask to test the wax on the inside of your wrist. If the wax is too hot it will make the pain more intense. And yes, waxing is a little painful but well worth it because it lasts longer.

I got my legs waxed last year, it hurt so much, I never did it again. I swear, my blood pressure shot up trying to bear the pain without screaming. If you don't like unnecessary pain, just use a cream hair remover--painless and smooth. The hair grows back, anyway, with either method, at the same speed.

Oh it hurts Have you ever had your eyebrows waxed? Same pain only more of it.
Ask where you are getting it done about any skin prep
