I am an employer looking to hire members from the military from active military service to civilian careers.

Contact the transition offices at military bases. Every service-member leaving the service is required to process through these for job hunting advice.

Another thing to do is advertise with 'GI Jobs' magazine.

BTW - what type of jobs are you looking to fill?

Advertise in the Army Times, Air Force Times, Navy Times and Marine Corps Times.

Get with a VA rep and the closest post and have him give you a number for the VA rep in your area, or even look into the VFW or legion, but veteran affairs is the best place to start.

Do the same thing that other employers do to attract applicants.

Then focus on the veterans
