my credit. I have no money what-so-ever. I live pay check to pay check just barely getting by. I am making my car payment, rent (all utilities paid), I have to have food, and I have no clue what to do. Eventually if I keep not responding to their letters, what will happen???? I don't know what to do. I need to know what to expect if I don't pay.

If you don't pay this debt you can expect the letters to start coming from a collection agency. Depending on the agency and the person assigned to you account it could get increasingly threatening and annoying. If you let it go so far as to be reported the the credit reporting agencies, you'll have a serious blight on your record. If you owe the bank money for a bounced check, you might also expect to have a warrant issued for your arrest.

There's probably more, but you get the point. Ignoring the problem will not make it go away and will end up costing you more in the long run.

So, what should you do? You can't pay it--so call the bank and ask what your options are. You are not the first person to go in the red with his or her account. It is in their best interest to work with you to have a possibility of recouping their losses instead of incurring further expense in trying to collect the debt.

You can ask your car company to defer your next payment(push it to the end of your loan) that should give you most of the money to pay the bank. Don't ignore the bill, it won't just go away, it will keep going and the consequenses will get worse and worse. Contact me if you have questions about deffering the payment.

yes it does so I think you need to ask for some type of payment plan... and possibly think about getting another job for the time being.... or ask the car loan people if you can skip a payment or pay the interest... I've done that before when I got into a bind...

having poor credit will really hurt you

Because he is a fool clown *** Republican that really thinks that every person on plant earth is dumber then him and he must also think that people will believe him or anything that comes out of his lying mouth like most Republicans, Nixon and Busch senior are also very fine examples of lying foolish Republicans. Call them up, explain your situation, and make some sort of arrangement or payment schedule within your reach. If you keep ignoring them, you'll get sent to collections and it will definitely mess up your credit.
