Here are some options I've used:
Splenda brown sugar + cinnamon
Chai oatmeal (cook oatmeal with a Chai teabag, then remove bag)
Fruity oatmeal (bananas, strawberries, blueberries, whatever)
I also use a spray butter to get a little of that butter flavor.

A bit of brown sugar isn't too fattening, and tastes so much better than regular sugar! Try adding raisins, cranraisins, apricots, dried bananas, or other fruit that you like. Some type of chopped nut would also be good. How about trying cinnamon or nutmeg on top? The artifical type sweeteners don't taste that great in my opinion, I would still stick with brown sugar!

Add cinnamon to the water, then add the oatmeal when appropriate...I use brown sugar substitute (made by Sugar Twin) to top it.
Have you tried baked oatmeal? You add some wheat flour, and some applesauce...I forget whenere I found the recipe, might be at www.allrecipes.com

Organic black soya powder or a type of chinese herbs, called dates. these will make the oatmeal slightly sweeter but healthier than sugar/butter/condensed milk

Fry up some bacon and eggs, maybe some hash browns, and a couple pieces of toast, take the oatmeal and give it to your dog and you'll both be happy

I do honey, cinnamon, and a splash of skim milk... I also like to add a tbsp of milled flaxseed for the omega fats.
