Age is not an equation when it comes to filing a tax return, You file when you have income. Even small children have tax returns filed (by their parents on their behalf) when they have interest income. If You are working and have wages or any type of taxable income you need to file a tax return, even if it is only to claim back any taxes that you had withheld from your wages

You sound like your still young. Well once you start working and you got a job with pay...and you get as W2 form in the mail, you can be 16 and up...it depends, on where you work and how old you are once you start working.
Ask your parents about this or an adult...they can tell you more about it. its hard for me to explain.
Im 17 gonna be 18 and been working for almost 2 years.

There is no age requirement; it's based entirely upon your income. There are infants who have to file tax returns -- signed by their parents of course -- if they have enough income.
