PLANT CLASSIFICATION IS BASED ON BIOLOGICAL CHARACTERISTICS. THE HIGHEST CLASSIFICATION IS THE KINGDOM, AND TREES ARE IN THE PLANT KINGDOM. TREES ARE CLASSIFIED IN TWO MAJOR GROUPS: GYMNOSPERMS, WHICH INCLUDE THE CONIFERS, AND ANGIOSPERMS, WHICH INCLUDE ALL THE FLOWERING PLANTS.

The trees are put into 2 branches : 1 is softwoods and other is hardwoods . softwoods have less branches and so their stem is more useful than hardwoods because hardwoods have more branches!but hardwoods because of their parenchymas, have beautiful woods..... if you want to have more infos about each tree you can join this group and check out their site : treetribe@yahoogroups.com
