Why is it good?
Good, because Sanatana Dharma(eternal religion) is universal, based on the Vedas(book of knowledge). It is the occupation of the soul with the supersoul , is not catering to the needs of just a limited few isms, but it includes the sectarian teachings of different isms, viz., Hinduism, Buddhism, Jainism, Mohammedianism, Chirstianism, Zorastarisnism etc... i
What accomplishment?.
There is no force, but choosing what one wants, but offering the best. It has given different people with different tendencies to practice various paths and there it is not one sided it is all inclusive for different people with different natures. For instance, Krishna in the Bhagavad gita gives different processes, viz., Karma Yoga, Sankhya YogaJnanga Yoga, Dhyana Yoga and ultimately Bhakti Yoga. Even in the 12th chapter entitled Bhakti Yoga, Krishna gives various options if one cannot adopt Bhakti Yoga, one can follow the regulative principles of Bhakti Yoga. If not even that then work for the Param Brahma. If one cannot even do that in the verse 12 Krishna says some more options,"If you cannot take to this practice, then engage yourself in the cultivation of knowledge. Better than knowledge, however, is meditation, and better than meditation is renunciation of the fruits of action, for by such renunciation one can attain peace of mind."
Also after giving the final instructions to Arjuna that he should surrender unto the Supersoul dwelling withing the hearts of all Krishna says without forcing Arjuna but gives him freedom of choice by telling, "Deliberate on this fully, and then do what you wish to do".
Why others should join?
Actually there is no others. Everyone is an atma(soul). So I am a soul, your soul, everyone is a soul. The practitioners of Sanatana Dharma accept that God has given different people according to time, place and circumstances different ways to achieve him by giving Vedas, Bible, Quran etc.... Sanatana Dharma says,"Sarve sukhino bhavantu", that everyone become happy, not just christians, muslims, hindus, buddhists etc...
Consider the following for your judgement and decide it for yourself
Introduction to Bhagavad-gita-As-It-Is, by A.C.Bhaktivedanta Swami Prabhupada, Founder-Acharya of ISKCON.
Yet man professes to belong to a particular type of faith with reference to particular time and circumstance and thus claims to be a Hindu, Muslim, Christian, Buddhist or any other sect. Such designations are non-sanatana-dharma. A Hindu may change his faith to become a Muslim, or a Muslim may change his faith to become a Hindu, or a Christian may change his faith and so on. But in all circumstances the change of religious faith does not effect the eternal occupation of rendering service to others. The Hindu, Muslim or Christian in all circumstances is servant of someone. Thus, to profess a particular type of sect is not to profess one’s sanatana-dharma. The rendering of service is sanatana-dharma.

100 words or less? Not me!
I am agnostic, for lack of another description. I was raised Lutheran, and gave up Christianity long ago. I have researched Taoism, Buddhism, Judaism, Wicca and the Mormons, and for the most part found any Christ-based system flawed.
I do not believe in God or any other supreme deity, and I cannot accept pure atheistic annihilation either. There are some things people will never understand, and I'm fine with that. It makes life a journey of discovery.
It is good for the same reasons that atheism is good, mainly that I am my own power in life and do not need rules imposed upon me in order to be a good person. I choose my path and accept responsibility for my actions. My accomplishments are my own just like everyone else.
It's not a religion to "join" though. It's simply who I've chosen to be and it keeps me hopeful and happy. I'm free.

Haegtessa. The anglo-saxon word for Hedge Witch, or Hedge Rider.
It's as potentially good or potentially bad as any other religion. We're as skilled in healing as we are in poisons.
Our claim to fame is the discovery of about 40% of all known herbal remedies, including the uses of foxglove in Digitalis.
Others should only consider Haegtessa after studying traditional Witchcraft or modern Wicca. It's really a very specialized kind of herbal Witch. Thus, it's not for everyone, or even most people.
*edit*
WHY do I see people getting the thumbs down? This isn't grade friggin' four people. Just so you know, I gave everyone here but thomas a thumbs up.

I am an eclectic Wiccan with a Celtic and Norse influences. I believe the Earth is our Mother and we must start to respect Her and treat Her better or She is going to deal with us in a not so nice way. As Wiccans, we learn that we are responsible for our actions and that what energy we put forth in this world will return to us (karma) and that as we are free to do as we wish we should never harm another or harm ourselves. We do not plead with an external deity for help but believe each of us is a part of the Divine and therefore we have the power to bring about a positive change in the world by ourselves.
As far as why others should join, that is up to the individual to decided. We do not recruit like other faiths. We know that each individual must find their own path to follow and indeed I would not like to see everyone become Wiccan because I believe that not everyone could handle it.

I don't have a religion. I have a way of life. There is only 1 way in my way of life, my way. I cannot make any decisions other than the decisions I make so I cannot regret only learn. It is not good and it is not bad, it just is. There are no accomplishments, it just is. Others shouldn't join. They are already a part of if. They live their lives their way. They just don't realize it yet.

Asatru is good because - we do not have to bow or scrape before our dieties. A high value is placed on personal responsibility and honor. Very family oriented, wholesome atmostphere.
Accomplishments? Resisted the forced christianization of our lands despite torture, murder and repeated wars for many centuries. Gave us the faith and stregnth to fight back.
Sorry, you can't just join. Many Kindreds will only let you join if you are born into it, marry into it or are legally adopted by existing members. Like I said, we're very family oriented.

I am Protestant. It's good because it's what I believe. Why should other's join me? They shouldn't! They should believe what they want. Religion isn't a competition. If someone doesn't believe the same thing than that's ok. I don't believe almost all of the Catholic religion yet I'm about to marry one. No biggie. As long as I know where I'm going when I die and have my own beliefs set then that's all I need to worry about.

I am a Baptist.
It's a form of Chrisitianity. It's good because you focus on being a Christian but there's room for your own beliefs.
A bit strict in some ways but not nearly as strict as other types.
I'm not going to TELL anyone to join- everyone should have a choice that is unbiased.
God bless you.

regrettably in this international there alot of pretend misleadings. The bible can not state itself any more beneficial clearer. you're maximum ideal there's a God (Psalms 80 3:18). The soul is what sustains our existence, if we die, the soul dies alongside with it. (Ezequiel 18:4). The bible has been written many circumstances notwithstanding it essencially conveys a similar message. jesus is the son of God. The bible tells the account of even as Jesus stepped himself ahead from the heavens to pass and sacrifice himself in the international. also, there's a heaven yet in trouble-free words one hundred and forty four,000 get to pass (because the bible says in Revelation 7:4). Hell does no longer exist, even as someone dies, they as if they're asleep. (Ecl. 9:10). the guidance is authentic and its there yet i won't be able to describe all of it. i invite you to take a workers bible study software loose on the relax of your human being residence.

Bhudism
It teaches people to be aware of doing bad things (even when the person is alone) because it teaches about karma (sin), the believe that even no one knows about the thing you do but God knows...
Believe in Karma can stop people before they decide to do wrong deeds
Why you should join? well, it makes you a good person and if everybody is a good person...you will live in harmony
