I need to connect my antenna with a coaxial output to my surround sound system, that only accepts audio/video input. What devices/converters are available to make this conversion?

I don't have an audio-out on my TV, which is what the manual of my surround-sound unit says to use.

Antenna? So no cable TV, is this correct? If the answer is yes - Do you have a VCR? Use the audio output of the VCR to your surround sound system.

However, if you do have cable tv, then the cable box may have audio outputs.

You need to upgrade your cable service to Digital. That way you will have a place to connect an audio cable from audio out on cable box to audio in on receiver. The coax coming in the house connects to cable-in on Cable Box, and another piece of coax from cable-out on cable box to the cable in on the TV. That should do the trick. If you just have an outside antenna, and no cable, then either get it(Digital) or get a satellite dish, and then hook it up the way I said. Those are your options.

You will need a Radio-Frequency Modulator (RF Modulator)

That converts RF -(coax) signal to Compostie audio/video signal- (RCA)
