My boyfriend and I went bowling. At first it was to be a group date with three couples. I told him it would be fun if my sister and his sister came along. I knew that my sister would want to go. Some people couldn't make it, so it was just me, my boyfriend, his best friend, my sister, and his sister.

My boyfriend and I at one or two times, that I can remember, sat close and kissed each other 3 times or so. Then we just started talking or teasing each other. Nothing major. Most of the time we weren't even sitting by each other cause of the constant seat changing that goes along with bowling. His best friend at one point goes, "Get a room you two." But he was just teasing at my boyfriend because when he and his wife were dating, they would sometimes bring him along and he would say the same thing.

My sister told my mom that we were making out. She even told her I sat in his lap! That never happened! My mom got on to me and said I don't want to have a "reputation." What gives?

She said I don't need to be making out in public, but we just kissed a few times. Making out to me involves clothing removal and touching of certain areas. We weren't even french kissing. It was just little kisses. Then I laid my head on his shoulder and he kissed the top of my head. What's so bad about that?

Oh, and I'm 21 years old. I know what making out is. We weren't making out.

Sounds to me like you sis overreacted. Tiny smooches and a peck on the forehead hardly constitutes making out, IMHO. Making out requires the two to be engaged in a kiss for longer than a minute...usually it invloves groping, tongues, and lots of saliva. (Hehe...You get the idea). Hmmm. I would just try and plead my case to Mom. Let her know exactly what happened.
Good luck!

No offense, but at 21 years old, I'd be telling my sister off for running to mom and telling her what she did. You're 21, not 12. If you wanna make out with your guy in the middle of the bowling alley, you should be able to. Nothing wrong with that...been there before..(Now, if your sister is only 6 or something drastic like that, I can see holding back, but chances are that if you're 21, she's at least (my personal guess) 15 or so.) I personally don't think you and your guy did anything wrong. I'm about to turn 27 years old, and my guy and I do the stuff you did in public too. I say blow it off, and don't feel bad about it.

You'll have things like that when you're in love.

You need to learn that making out is not removing of clothes. But you were not making out in my book. And im gonna guess that you are too young to be worried about this kinda stuff anyway. Just do your homework.()
