I met a lady on the net on a christian dating site, I wasn't really looking, but I had my profile on there, and I was going to get rid of it, but then I met her on there, and from then on we have spoken ever since. It has been about a month and a half since we first met on there, now the part that most would frown on, is the fact that we haven't actually met yet in person, we have only spoken on the phone. She is wanting to become a nurse, so her schedule is very chaotic. There have been times where we didn't talk for about 5 days or so, and I just didn't know what was going on. The last time, we didn't talk for about a week, I believe in not suffocating her so I let her call me, but I would call here and there, but then yesterday, I hear from her. *Here is the part I need help on - She told me in the last conversation that she met another guy on the same site, and he is a nut bar, calls her all the time and is annoying. She also told me that her schedule will get better in 5 weeks.

Thank you all very much

what signs? were there any signs? i see 2 people who re socially awkward cos u can't find mates in real life. and i wouldn't even break my head over it before u meet her in person. maybe u wouldn't like her at all. maybe she wouldn't like u at all. so calm down and instead of posting here meet her in person. if u live in the same city i can't understand how long does it take to meet for a cup of coffee? 10 minutes max man i am telling u. so fi she can't find 10 min for u this is a very bad sign

well, she is still an open person on the site or she would not have met that other guy...that is not a good point
the fact that she explained her situation to you and told you when her schedule is going to change is a good point
but it still sounds to me like she is out there playing on the site.
I met my now fiance on this site (Yahoo Answers) and after about a few weeks we both stopped any activity in any other dating type sites...we still came on here to answer questions. Long story short...he moved 1800 miles to be with me and we are planning a wedding in August.
So if she is still out there playing on those sites to meet new people...I would say if you are looking for a relationship other than friendship she is not the one
but that is only my opinion

be cool...

Hi
I really don't know what to say. It really depends on what age you both are and whether it would be easy for you both to meet.
Take the 'nut bar' out of the equation completely - I don't see what that has/will have to do with your quandry. Maybe she just told you that information to see what your reaction would be and to check out whether you are a 'nut bar' too! Who knows? If she has been talking to someone else, but is too busy to meet you, she may be keeping her options open?

It might be a good idea for you both to meet at this stage - say in 5 weeks when her scedule gets less hectic and then take it from there. Good luck to you both.

Do not get too attached until you meet her in person. You may find that you don't even like each other or are not attracted to each other at all. In the meantime, continue meeting other ladies and enjoying life.
