Need more information to answer your question, What type of disability income? Social Security? Workers Compensation? Employer Sponsored Sick pay, Short Term or Long Term Disablility, Did you pay premiums for the Payments?

That depends upon the source of the disability funds. If it's Social Security, it's not taxable. If it's from a plan that you paid for, it's not taxable. If it's from an employer-sponsored plan that you did not pay for, it's fully taxable as ordinary income and must be claimed in the year you received payment.
