I met this girl in school but we are not from the same class or same whatever. For a while, i've been chatting with her on IM and im always the one asking her questions and she just answers them. I always feel that the conversations are going no where and they just freeze after 2-3 questions as im always the one asking and trying to chat with her. Recently, i just met her face to face at the school's funfair and when i asked her to take a photo with me, she was rather hesitant. U could say it's cause she doesnt know me well enough and it was so random, or worse, no interest.
Anyway, Valentine's coming and really wanna get to know her better. I wanna ask her out as i really like her alot somehow but i dont know how should i approach this topic. Im planning on giving her a gift? maybe with a card and i'll write something would u go out with me? kinda corny lol..
I need serious help lol. kthx..

I dont think she's a shy kind of person as i see her getting along quite well with many ppl.. maybe i just have to get myself more noticed? Anyway, i'm still gonna get her something for this wednesday.. and we'll see how things go from here.. Keep adding your opinions pls ppl!

Do you know any of her friends? Do any of your close friends know her or any of her close friends? Because you could ask THEM how she feels or who she likes. It might help to have some "insider information," you know? Get her a card and a gift, but be sure to ask her in person if she'd like to go out with you, otherwise, you may make her feel really shy and she may not answer right away since she sounds shy.

considering the lack of interest on her part, I'd suggest giving her something in the form of from the "mystery man". That will get her intrigued, and make her day. Later on when you progress better, you can then perhaps reveal it was you, or when she guesses it's you.

Just ask her out, just not on v-day. It's already strained as it is already. And if she says another time.. move on..
