Depends on the state and depends on the actual age difference.. I think a lot of states are 3 years are OK... BUT remember, a parents words are law when the child is under their roof.
Parents can also file in a court of law to protect their children.
This is trouble...
If it is meant to be.... They can wait till they are of age and out of the nest....

In theory, that is completely legal and within the law. It's only if you start ******* a 16/17 year old, however this does depend on what state you live in, or country. For example, in Texas it is illegal to have sex if you are under 18, unless you are making love to a family member.
Regards, however i do wonder why a 17 year old would go out with a 13 year old, that's sick, and no... a 3/4 year old age gap is a huge difference at your age.
My suggestion for you would be to buy yourself a bag of Lays, some Haribo and watch Cartoon Network... rather than buying your first packet of Durex.

Ask your mom and dad. Oh, you don't want them to know? Then there's your answer. They have legal rights to know what you're doing because the courts will ultimately make them pay the cost to fix whatever mess you find yourself in. When the 16 year old no longer feels the thrill of being with someone your age, he'll stalk out another 'virgin' for a new rendevous. The differences between you are more than age.

It is not illegal for a 13 year old to date a 16/17 year old. It is, however illegal for the 16/17 year old to have any form of sex with that same 13 year old. A 13 year old is not of age to give consent for sex acts.

If there is sex involved it is. In my state any sexual relationship with more then 3 years difference in age is called statutory rape unless you are over 18. It goes both for guys and girls.

13 years of age is underage all over the world. Hence, it IS illigal. It doesn't matter she dates an equal under age or overage. Its illigal.

the parent rules...what ever they say goes...so if the parent says no then it is illegal to the parents and you have to follow their rules. the only way to get around this is emancipation which has all kinds of guidelines you have to meet...including being able to support yourself...which at 13 I don't think you can do

Dating is still legal but for sex you need to check your state law and see what the consensual age is.
