i have a gastric bleeding originating from the mid intestine.i take azothiaprin,steroids and pentasa.through the year i remain fit but at the time of winter the problem begins and and have regular bouts of melaena leading to very low levels of haemoglobin.this year also the bleeding began around december but it did not ceaseeven after taking haemostatics.i am losing regular bouts of fresh blood.for the time being it has stopped for a few days but i am not having any kind of treatment which can cure me.please help me with any kinds of suggestions and with links to organisations where i can tellmy problem and can have a fair treatment.

Get a consult with another gastroenterologist or two and see what various other treatments may be available.

ok, diet, Lots of green leafies, (Spinach, lettuce, collards, etc) Are you taking Nsaids? Aspirin, Ibuprofen, etc?

If this is no help, seek out a book called "The maker's diet". It cured the author of Crohn's disease.
