How durable is Ikeas Varde kitchen range?Reccomend any other free standing units?

Thinking of replacing my kitchen with the varde range from Ikea as can get some 2nd hand from eBay and just buy the odd bit new - wondering if anyone has it and how durable is it to everyday wear and tear as I have 3 kids! was it easy to put together and did it look nice?

Looks good, and does it's job. Not sure what your kids are doing to it, but it's pretty solid and takes things dropping on it well.
