i cant wait to get her spayed! We took custody of my husbands cousin and she brought her cat with her. So all this is very unexpected!!! We will definatly find only good homes for the kittens. She went into heat the first week she was here. She has never had kittens before. But now she is gone mad!!! Crazy little kitty!!!! I love her to pieces I just am not getting any sleep!! she is up all night crying!

I have made her an official indoor cat. She is no longer aloud out of my home untill she is fixed. As soon as last kitten has a good home. Off to the vet we go. I have had dogs all my life. So this is all a suprise to me.

Why have you not spayeded your cat? Is your cat microchipped? Why not?

Each year, in this country alone, millions of healthy, adoptable cats and dogs are killed because there are not enough homes for them all. Please read the article on The Crisis of Pet Overpopulation. Too many companion animals competing for too few good homes is the most obvious consequence of uncontrolled breeding. Living creatures have become throwaway items to be cuddled when cute and abandoned when inconvenient.
You can help solve the crisis of pet overpopulation by spaying and neutering your pets. Did you know that one female dog and her offspring can give birth to 67,000 puppies. In seven years, one cat and her young can produce 420,000 kittens. Did you know that spaying or neutering is good for your pet, you and the community. Spaying and neutering helps dogs and cats live longer, healthier lives. Here are some common thoughts about why people don’t spay or neuter their pets.
Where to have your pets spayed or neutered.
If you can not find a free/low cost spaying & neutering clinic here that is closest to you, then contact your local veterinarian, animal shelter and/or animal rescue group. They should be able to help you.  To find more information on Spaying/Neutering and websites, http://www.mypetnanny.info/Link_Pages/Lost_Found.htm

Yes your cat is definately pregnant!
its perfectly fine for your cat to act this way as cats will mate up to 9 times when they are in heat.
make sure you give all the kittens good homes though as there are a lot of stray kittens out there.
After your cat has given birth get her spayed and then you wont have to worry about this again.
Bring your cat to the vet soon as there could be complications .
when the time has come your cat will go somewhere dark and warm to give birth and check on her after a while cause there could be a kitten stuck inside her ( it happens sometimes)
apart from this she should be fine!

congrats! and hpoe ive helped

i would expect kittens close to the end of this month. a cat will sometimes go into a *false heat* if they are pregnant and they got bred on the first heat they have ever experienced. sounds to me that is exactly what she did. i suggest you have her spayed as soon as you get all the kittens gone. it will save you alot of trouble and sleepless nights!

I hope your cat is not pregnant and you will please consider spaying your cat. There are too many animals that don't have homes already. What would you do with the kittens?
There are low cost spay/neuter clinics in most areas. Check with your local shelter.
