If my root canal needs to be redone does anyone know how many visits to the dentist will this take? When I had it done initially i had temp filling then went back to have the rest done. Will it be the same procedure?

Well you will probably need two, one to take out the filling you have and to clean the tooth, and then a second visit to fill the root canal again.
And yes is almost the same procedure.

You should only need one visit. The dentist will go back into the tooth the same way they went in before and clean out the canals like they did before and fill it again and place a filling and you'll be done

It took me 2 visits! but unfortunately afterwards i was in alot of pain which led to another 4 visits to get rid of an infection, i ended up going private!!! I'm sure i am just unlucky but 2 visits is usually right unless the final filling isn't right.

Yep will be the same. First you have the temporary filling again and go back to have the filling put in. Job done

One for me.

Went in, she checked out my gob, was going to give me an injection but I don't do injections, did the work without one, no pain and only took twenty mins.
