It is regarded by conventional medics as incurable. There may be some help from homoeopathy.

It is certainly worth looking at your diet to make sure that it is more than adequate on all levels, especially potassium, calcium and Omega 3 essential fatty acids and vitamin D.

Get yourself a good nutritional medicine practitioner.

Cider vinegar may offer some relief from inflammation and pain, though I have no direct experience of this. It certainly helps your general health.

Good luck in your search.

The treatment of ankylosing spondylitis involves the use of medications to reduce inflammation and/or suppress immunity, physical therapy, and exercise. Medications decrease inflammation in the spine, and other joints and organs. Physical therapy and exercise help improve posture, spine mobility and lung capacity. If you have been diagnosed as such by your GP there is no reason at all why it should not be treated.

Ankylosing Spondylitis is where the discs in the intercostal spaces of the spine lose their sponginess and become brittle.
Yoga and a good osteopath could help the pain and stiffness you feel.

Sorry to hear you have that. I have a friend with it. They get constant medical treatment to try to control the disease. They've also had a number of hip replacements.

The treatment you get will depend on the severity of the disease. But you should be getting help to control it.

Good luck

for arthritis, drink 2 tbs of raw apple cider vinegar and two tbs of raw honey in water 3 times a day..this will remove pain of calcium deposits but will return if treament is stopped. Also try a vegan diet..much arthritis went away with a vegan diet (a vegetarian diet that eats produce, grains, beans, legumes, sprouts, nuts, and seeds but no meat, fish, poutry, cheese, dairy and eggs.

Also try a chiropractor to see if they feel they can help.

I don't know? Is your doctor refusing to treat it? In the first case it's normally managed with nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs such is Ibruprofen and if that doesn't work, stage two is disease modifying anti-rheumatic drugs such as Sulfasalazine, Methotrexate and Corticosteroids.

Get to see a different doctor as what you have is very treatable...
