Are there any homeschool groups or programs in VA/NC??

Question

I'm looking for some groups in south central Virginia or north central North Carolina.. somewhere between Chatham, VA and Yanceyville, NC. Maybe even beween Martinsville and South Boston or Eden and Reidsville? Does anyone know of some?! Thank you!

Hey! Just to clarify...

I 'm looking for a homeschoolers "get-together" kind of thing... where they join up once a week or something and go bowling or go to the movies.. I'm already currently inrolled in A.C.E. through LCA. So if there are any homeschool groups that are in the Piedmont or southern VA or northern North Carolina.. I would love to hear about them!!! maybe even in Greensboro, Martinsville, South Boston, Danville, Yanceyville, Eden, Roxboro, Reidsville, or any of those places or others... please tell me! Thank you!

If you know of an activity center not necessarily for homeschoolers, that also would be wonderful info! :-)

they should have a list of homeschool groups across that area.

Yahoo has Group Email lists for Homeschoolers. If there isn't a group in your area, you can start one yourself. That's what I did, because we are out in the boonies. We have a small group started, and we stay in touch between meetings.

I don't know of any right off. But I do know that there are some! Just do a search on Google or something. :)
