You make a guy feel more like a pet (or worse - a prisoner) than a partner sometimes. You try to control us and tell us what to do, what to think, who we can look at, where we can go and you want us to call you all the time. Why does EVERYTHING have to be about YOU? That might be why guys cheat, they just need to get away sometimes so they can concentrate on something besides pleasing and serving you. We know that a lot of girls and women are reading this question so if we don't see any answers from you, we'll know where we stand with you on this subject.

Not all ladies are like this! I think you are picking the wrong ones. Sounds like you have had a bit of a history with control-freak women.
Personally, I need space in a relationship. I cannot stand to be smothered or to have my beau around 24/7....try to find some females who have the same kind of attitude you do when it comes to attention. That way, you expect the same things from the relationship and you can't go wrong! :-)

Because women are from Venus, and you are from Mars, so you can never understand women, fully :p
Now, not all women are like how you described. It also depends on the guy. If a needy woman is with an absolutely gentlemanly and caring guy, she won't need to be like how you described. Also, if an understanding woman is with a not so caring guy, things will also not turn out as you described. So both parties are to blame.... It also has to do with her upbringing... if she observed that's how her mother does it, then chances are, she will also replicate. You are a winner if you can stop such behaviour :) and I believe it's possible.

Listen mate, you'll likely not get a straight answer from a girl. The females need so much attention because:
1: If you're paying attention to them, your eyes are not on the other girl
2: They are insecure
3: they want to know that they are pretty

well i am a girl so i can answer this. well sometimes guys are all in there really weird guy look or mood and they just go lookin at other girls or they just pay attention to so,eone else and we dont like it so we try to find something to get there atrtention.but we are not trying to treat a guy like a prisoner or a pet we just are trying to telll the man that we love him

I am male. I am so happy you posted this on the net. This was my experience with my most recent girl-friend, until I forcefully came out of that relationship, she has virtually turned me to a prisoner, always calling, always wants me to be around her, never wanting me to leave even when I tell I want to, I can hardly pass where she is without she wanting me to come around her, introducing me to every of her friend, even her parents and siblings and colleagues, even on yahoo messenger. But now that i am out I am very happy. Hope to get into a relationship that I would find some fresh air to breathe. Girls should learn that guys don't like being treated like pets and petted like girls. We are quite different. Ihope they learn

Try to find somebody who's compatible with you rather than an incompatible piece of arm candy and see how THAT goes.

wow good question, i am a woman.. but i am more of a layed back person. I look at woman with my man, and watch what he wants to. and i really dont understand what woman are thinking when they tell their B/F's what they can and can't do.

Maybe it makes them feel specail, like they are the only person in the world for the???? But guys really should get more freedom....except with cheating on your gf or wife..theres no exuse for that...
