Mixed feelings is a cop-out a guy/girl usually gives when he/she can't make up his/her mind - indecisiveness. This also means that they'll be this way in a relationship, too.
This usually involves admission of feelings, etc. The one with the "mixed feelings" doesn't want to commit to one answer feeling like he/she will lose out on something.
It could also depend on the subject matter.

Mixed feelings means you have both good and bad feelings about a topic or situation at the same time.
For example - you could be the girl who sang with Justin Timberlake at the Grammys. The performance was pretty bad. So, you might feel great that you were out there with Justin Timberlake, and on TV, and a zillion people saw you, but at the same time you feel bad because you didn't do so great. So, you have "mixed feelings" about your performance. Good and bad feelings at the same time.
A "feeling" is an emotion. A "filling" is something you put in an empty pie shell or a rotten tooth the dentist hollowed out.

They are just that, filling that are made of 2 kinds. like silver covered with gold. They just had a thing on Mythbusters about them. And it was buststed, you can not pick up the radio with mixed fillings.
