Hey Debra,
If you know where Norman died, you can visit or call the local library to obtain an obit. If Norman is related to you , you can request a death certificate, which would give you a lot of information.
LDS Family Search has 2 Norman Mccalls dying in 1994:
1. Norman MCCALL - U.S. Social Security Death Index
Birth: 1 Sep 1936 State Where Number was Issued: Texas Death: 1 Oct 1994
2. Norman MCCALL - U.S. Social Security Death Index
Birth: 28 Apr 1913 State Where Number was Issued: Idaho Death: 31 May 1994
Not being told the persons age or location, it is impossible for me to know if either of thes are the Norman you are looking for. So, here are some other helpful tools.
