how old should a female Chihuahua be to breed?

People need to read these answers. This question right here has been ask a million times and for the million time she should be 2 years old. Once again head up everyone female should be breed at two years old. Shouldn't be breed after 8 years old.. Males can be stud out at 8 months old but I would hold off until a male is at least a year old.

are you aware that most small chihuahuas have to be watched carefully while giving birth ? also are you aware that most chihuahuas and most toy breeds have to have c-sections which cost on the upward scale of 1,000.00 and that is for starters. I would not breed these days because of all the animals that dont find homes and end up in shelters . good luck and i hope i helped.

WHYY.. the ? is WHY do you desire to reproduce her? Do you no longer care relating to the well-being of your canines? confident she is merely too old! are you searching for a rapid dollar or something? Why the hell do you desire to reproduce her? bypass away your canines on my own and get the two one in all them fastened! we don't desire anymore canines in the international.. bypass to a shelter and look at each and all the damaging little chis there... one in all them is probabaly from an old littler which you already bought. human beings could desire to undertake canines and end breeding for funds!

She should be aleast 2 years old. This gives her time for her to gain all the nessary nutrients and maturity to have puppies. Puppies born to younger mothers are more likely to die and so is the mother.
