Some ideas to make the flight more bearable:

- forbid all colas (contain coffein) and oj (vitamin C wakes them up). They will need nap time, so that they can relax too.
- bring food you know they will like, in small ziplock bags - including lots of small surprises... don't try to nutritionally accurate, but fruit slices, mini bags of candies, finger sized mini sandwiches... don't bother bringing drinks, water milk and juices are freely available on board.
- pack a bagful of small books, coloring stuff, a tape recorder with a favorite tape. If you have a portable video player, that is a good thing to bring!! Under 4 is a very tough age to travel with 2 young kids.

Enroll the help of one of the hostess, but alas nowadays they are very busy... what airline are you flying? On any US line, you'll need to cope mostly on your own...
