this is a tricky one...i thought i was genuinely in love with my 1st bf...but now i look back and laugh! but who knows maybe our idea of wot love is just changes over time...each relationship ive been in ive felt in love but afterwards i always think i was being rediculous...but it might just b cos i got over them...i think real love lasts...if you r still with the person in yrs to come...then i think u can accept its real love

You'll just know, ive only had one bf and right away i knew he was my true love u just feel it, even though yea weve broken up but he is still the love of my life and he always be.

honestly, i've thought i've been in love a few times. until one boyfriend i had, and i know for sure i haven't loved anyone else after him. it's hard though, when it's your first time, to really know if it's just an intense liking or love.
i guess i knew because he not only was my boyfriend, but he was my best friend. i would have done anything for him, and him for me. i felt like there was no one else in the world but him, and even a year into the relationship i still got butterflies around him. i'm gonna go a little cliche here, but you just know.

You don't have to have loved previously to know you're in love. You will know because you won't be able to stop thinking about that person, you will grow to care more for them than yourself, you will want to be around them all the time and not just because of sexual reasons, but because you genuinely care about them and want to be near them... they will become one of your best friends. I had never been "in love" before I met my now husband.. but it's true what they say, you really do get that "butterfly," funny feeling in your stomach and can't stop thinking about them. Good luck!! Trial and error. You know because of the jerks you've had the misfortune of being involved with before. Learn what is bad then you know if you've got something good. Also you will be prepared to swallow.

ul just know cuz u wont be able to stop thinking about them from the moment u wake up til you go back to bed, they drive you crazy in more ways that one, when u look at them u think to yourself how lucky u r to have found them.
