Try with a headset.

If the problem is still there then the issue is with either your sound card or perhaps some software sound effect you enabled without realizing it.

If the problem is not there with a headset then your speakers are shot.

check to see the sound card you have, and go to its web site to get the latest driver

to see what sound card you have, go to start>accssories>system-tools>system info/compeonent
