My boyfriend has been telling me that he really loves me, he sent me an email saying "U bring me joy that no other woman has in a very long time....this feeling is one that ive been looking for for years... I LUV U MORE" - that was on the 8th Feb. I never heard from him again since we got off the computer call. We live far apart, so spending time together online is our way of quality time. I havent seen him online since, and I've sent him little messages to ask where he at, but i still havent got no answer. Its unlike us not to talk atleast for an hour every day (5 hours at a time is not unsual!) - so Im kinda spooked. Now I wonder if we have crashed and burned, or... Do you think Im being paranoid over nothing? Damn, I love me the brotha and it would really break my heart if its gone to the left.

'i love u' can mean a lot of things depending on who's saying it. i don't think u are being paranoid. am in the same situation but i sorted it out.
u used to talk everyday and he hasn't heard from u since 8th feb and he hasn't found a way to contact u? that's very strange. don't call him cos u've tried many times. if he doesn't contact u, i say forget him. u deserve better.

A young person who has not really experienced love or a relationship before. They have a crush or puppy love. Like puppy fat, it goes away when you grow up. It's also a childish kind of love, Because your only young and dont understand the real meaning or the gravity of love and feelings, etc. Not trying to be mean, we all live and learn. Everyone goes through the same things.

'I love you' means I think about you first when I say something/do something. Sounds like he loves you like a sister, not a life-partner. If it was love you wouldn't have to ask, it's unspoken and you KNOW.

And, do you want to know you bring him more joy than someone else did a long time ago ? Move on, good luck.

He is probs looking at a naughty site while thinking of you. He will then go to the w.c. for a quick ham shank then he will email you. Don't worry.

if you haven't seen him online, maybe he is not ABLE to get on line?
whereabouts IS he? maybe he has communication problems
it's only 4 days, and there was a weekend in there too

give it a while, if he has a method of contacing you, adn doesn't, then "I love you" doesn't appear to mean much

sorry
good luck

Honey, a man can tell you a thousand times he loves you but yet he doesn't mean it. Especially so, if he is not committed to you by marriage!!!

Sometimes it´s just a cliché. You should try to talk to him, some conversations are not meant to be on the net.

this is just like fishing, you are just one among them.you need not break the relationship but reduce to nil. you may have a man in future or wait for him to break

If it isn't actually said to you in person, then I'm afraid it means nothing at all.

Men find that phrase very easy to type.
