DAMN! YOU PEOPLE ARE MEAN!
Try talking to your dad and show him the female and the puppies will be no harm, to him or your male dog. Make a place for them to stay so they can not get out. You should start looking for homes for the puppies now.
Good Luck!

You actually only have one dog. The female and her puppies belong to the neighborhood. You can also not blame drivers for hitting your puppies when you did not properly secure them. The first death could be attributed to ignorance, but the second was inexcusable (not that the first really was either). Hopefully you have at least taken the mother to the vet to be vaccinated and checked out, if not the puppies as well. If you have a basement or unused den that you can use to keep the mother and puppies separate from the male dog, that may make your father more open to allowing them inside. Otherwise, you may want to find a rescue organization that will foster the mother and puppies out to someone who can care for them until they can be adopted. Then the mother can be spayed to avoid another unwanted litter, and adopted out as well.

Call animal control immediately. They will pick up the puppies and take them to the animal shelter, where they will receive PROPER care.
Have that female dog spayed NOW or give her up to. There is NEVER an excuse for having a dog roaming free - ever.

Contact an area rescue group and get your pets spayed/neutered, Today!!
http://www.mypetnanny.info/PD/index.htm
Each year, in this country alone, millions of healthy, adoptable cats and dogs are killed because there are not enough homes for them all. Please read the article on The Crisis of Pet Overpopulation. Too many companion animals competing for too few good homes is the most obvious consequence of uncontrolled breeding. Living creatures have become throwaway items to be cuddled when cute and abandoned when inconvenient.
You can help solve the crisis of pet overpopulation by spaying and neutering your pets. Did you know that one female dog and her offspring can give birth to 67,000 puppies. In seven years, one cat and her young can produce 420,000 kittens. Did you know that spaying or neutering is good for your pet, you and the community. Spaying and neutering helps dogs and cats live longer, healthier lives. Here are some common thoughts about why people don’t spay or neuter their pets.
Where to have your pets spayed or neutered.
If you can not find a free/low cost spaying & neutering clinic here that is closest to you, then contact your local veterinarian, animal shelter and/or animal rescue group. They should be able to help you.  To find more information on Spaying/Neutering and websites, http://www.mypetnanny.info/Link_Pages/Lost_Found.htm

The female should have been spayed to begin with I'm afraid.
Had you done that when you got her you wouldn't be in the situation you are.
You cannot blame motorists for hitting dogs that are roaming wild either.if a puppy runs out in front of them it's your fault not theirs and you could be held responsible for any resulting accident to the driver.
First round up these dogs and find them homes a.s.a.p and then get the mother spayed so that this doesn't happen again.
if your father is nervous of the male you have you need to ask yourself 'Why?'
I don't wish to be rude but you are a prime example of a dog owner who is irresponsible and is now finding that out to their cost.

You should be reported. That is horrible. Those pups didn't die because of foolish drivers but because of foolish you! I can't even believe you have the balls to come on here and tell this story. What does the future hold? Unbelievable! You already know what it holds. More death. You should be out in the dog house for sure.

i think you should call animal control and turn the rest of the pups over to them so they can find good homes for them .than get those dogs fixed there are to many unwanted dogs in this world .why must you ad to the list ? if you can't be responsible for the ones you have ( having them fixed) why should you have more? there are places everywhere in America that you could take them to get fixed for free to low cost.do the right thing ok

You need to take ALL of the pups and the mother to a no-kill shelter who will find them all loving homes who won't let the female roam free and who will spay her.

i would get either yourself or animal services to pick up the dogs. if you can't take care of them, leaving them outside is only going to end up in more fatalities.
the mum needs to be neutered and socialised so she isn't so wild, and the pups should be socialised as soon as possible, or you'll just be adding to more wild dogs in the neighbourhood. and wild dogs will be seen to other people as pests that need to be got rid of, and not in a nice pleasant way either.

Dogs should not be allowed to roam free period. You say stupid drivers but what happens when the road is icy and a young mother is taking her son to school when all of a sudden one of your dogs runs out in front of her. She tries to break and swerve and misses the dog but endup hitting a tree and her 6 year old son is injured because of your dogs. I am sick of dodging dogs in my area and tired of owners blamming the drivers.
