We have a one-bedroom apartment and have put our parrot's cage in the bedroom to avoid having him near the kitchen's fumes.

Both my finace and I are wondering if he will pick up any...um...inapporopriate sounds from being in the bedroom with us, and is there anything we can do to prevent potentiall hearing embarrassing moans and noises from our bird a few months from now?

LOL Yeah, they can.

Actually, my Military Macaw, Rio has never spent any quality time in my bedroom when we're doing THAT.

Yet, still, my Grandma was visiting one day and Gram was trying to get him to talk and he busts out with "Oh yeah. Mmmhmmm. Right there. Oh yeah, oh yeah."

NO CLUE where he got it. LOL Little bastard. I was mortified.

Many, many years ago I went to a bird show. An elderly couple who bred white headed Amazons were there with their new clutch. I stood for a while to admire, and as I did this huge belch sound came from this sweet little baby bird. The Lady said, "OH! Excuse him! He watches TV with my Husband at night", the old man smiled sheepishly. A few seconds went by and the sweet little baby made this VERY FUNNY poot sound, the lady once again spun around on her feet and said, "Excuse him! He watches TV with my husband!", I looked over at the Hubby whom was beet red and did not look up at us from his newspaper.
So the answer is, YES! and be glad you didn't leave him in the bedroom.
