If morality is by definition to know right from wrong (good from evil), Adam and Eve were by definition amoral before eating the apple.
Satan allowed them to "be as (a God) ... to know good and evil." So, wasn't it really Satan who gave mankind morals?

thats a lie of satan. adam and eve dun become as god if they eat the fruit. and besides, satan dun have the ability to and anyone god.... if he can, he wouldnt have lost the war with God and got banished from heaven.
morality is not KNOWING right from wrong. its DOING right or wrong that makes a person moral or immoral.

The way I understand the story is that Satan delivered man from 'good and evil'. Knowing both 'good and evil' as one thing not 2 separate things. Jehovah wanted man to be ignorant and stupid, Satan gave man freedom and knowledge.

satan promised them that when they just eat from the tree,they
became immortal.
That is partially right,because through this process(eating from
the tree){which is a metaphor...literally or actually he advices them to make love},to get breed,this permitted to cause man
kind sustained,
So it was not matter of morality,just to push them to unobey their
lord commands.

silly human knowledge doesnt grow on trees I would have to say satans morals are more ethical than the christian Gods, Jehovas holy bible is riddled with war and slavery.
