Money would be one thing. It's difficult to alot of people to part with it. Time is another, because it is also hard for people to give it up. Giving up some kindness and compassion is free and you can do it all day long.

If you are planning to become a Christian, read Matthew 19:17 until the end of the chapter. According to Jesus, you are suppose to give all your possessions to the poor and give up your family to follow him.
Otherwise, you need to follow only five of the 10 commandments (those that are social rather than religious in nature) and the law of "love they neighbor" in order to get into Heaven.
Hey, Jesus said it, not me....

We should be giving everything away to God for him to do with as he wishes. We need to give away our need to control our lives and let Gods will be done. This is so hard due to the fall of man. We have seperated ourselves and it is only through Jesus that we can return. Everything is created in Him for Him and by Him for HIS GLORY!
Good Question,

Hope...If you can give..hope..to anyone for any reason, you are giving them a step on a ladder to climb to reach their goal.....
I can do this through song...the difficult part of it is... that...some will not make it because they havn't learnt to help themselves...(you can give them a step up, but will they make the effort to climb)...I dont know, I cant see them....

I don't have to give anything away. I have an obligation to my son and no one else.
Giving isn't mandatory, it's being generous and compassionate.
