After building a pool my neighbors had several pool parties and now have put a sign in their front yard advertising Aquatic indoor pool business. My question is it legal to have a business like this in a residential community?

No, this would be a direct violation of zoning ordinances in practially all cities in the U.S.

Apparently so, depending on how recently they put the sign in the yard--- UNLESS they were advertising for the company that put in THEIR pool. If it's the first way, the city is in agreement because if they weren't your neighbors would have been investigated and lawfully dealt with.

Not if its a gene pool and you are in Washington DC. You would be unable to fill it for more than a foot bath.
