No. It's not unusual at all. I am nearly 30 and still have a few baby teeth. This is why they use dental records to identify humans. EACH MOUTH is different.

Sometimes they never erupt, but you should still get them out because they must be impacted. It takes longer to heal after 30 because your bone is more dence then when you were 17. The sooner the better, but it is not urgent enough to rush there tomorrow.

nope, my dentist wanted to put me in the hospital to take out all 4 when I was young , although only one bothered me; I told him take out that one only; years later, I changed dentists and asked him about my top wisdom teeth and he said you don't have any on the top? I said but my prior dentists told me .... he said , teeth are bone and bone shows up on x-ray, you never had them and you never will. Be thankful!

Not everyone gets them.

My mum told me hers started coming through when she was 20, but then she got pregnant with my brother and they stopped and never came in!

Doesn't mean you're not wise, but may be related to calcium intake.
