Hair length for me is long.1/2 way down my back. Choose what you like best,not the majority.

Guess it is up to the individual but I agree there is point in your life when long hair just looks horrible.
I have a friend who's mother is in her 70's and had hair that reached her bum and it looks terrible even her daughter dislikes it after long discussions her mum has agreed to have it cut and now she looks 10 years younger and sexy she also admitted she was glad she had the chop.
Then again every one is different and can make up their own minds.
Long hair if looked after can look modern and effective shoulder length has a slight restriction but again can look good.

I think shoulder length is a more efficient style as easier to handle but long is more modern with the likes of Beyonce and that opting for long extension.

That depends on your age! On younger women i.e up until their early thirty's, long hair looks best but after that the slightly shorter shoulder length is better. Though this is the general rule, face shape has to be taken into consideration.

Both can be modern but it depends on the age, face shape and the style.
I do not think there is any hard rules that state women over 30 should not have long hair. Again it depends on what suits that person.
I prefer and have hair down my back that i enjoy wearing down and having put up. In my opinion you can do more with long hair. I love having mine poker straight or done curly with my hair straighteners.

Clean looking hair that looks neat and well cared for looks effective and modern. Length is not a factor in hair at the momement.

I think long hair is more good as its not really common and suits english people...something new for a change as english/white people tend to keep short length haor, i wonder why though...
