I've been told that the body can really only absorb 25g or protein per hour, is this true? So if i have something that has, say 50g of protein in it, does that mean 25g are just gonna get flushed outta the body? (not EXACTLY 25g, but is there some actual limit to the amount of protein ur body can absorb in a certain time frame?)

there is no such limit. the body will digest as much protein as is present in the GIT. how much of the protein is utilized will vary from person to person. however the level of activity of the individual and the amount of lean body mass will have the greatest effect on overall net protein utilization.

This can simly not be true. Otherwise, you could eat 10 pound 99% lean steaks every single hour and not gain any weight. The scam diet industry would have been legitimized over this years ago.

It probably means that there is a limit to how much protein can be used for rebuilding of muscle and how much will be stored. It is probably much higher than 25 grams, as that is only 100 calories.
