I am so sad that you call us "civilians" like we are beneath you or something? I am sooo hurt that every military wife thinks they have it harder than any other person in this world. Being in the military is just like working anywhere else in this country, except you make more money for a lot easier positions and you get more money for BREEDING!!! I can't believe what this world is coming to.. The men who enter the military say they want to protect our country but yet everytime someone says they don't like how the military operates they are really mad at us "civilians" for standing up for ourselves. We are not beneath you just because I or my husband does not want to go into the military. Careers are personal choices and you could die on any job site not just from being in the military! It is probably really hard not seeing your husband for so long, but thats part of the duty as being a military wife I guess, or so I am told.
I pray every night that Bush would send the wives over seas

Yeah her opinion makes no sense. If you aren't military then you are a civilian and she's just looking for a reason to feel discriminated against. And while she's so upset over being called a civilian she has the nerve to say that us military wives are just whores that like to breed. I haven't figured out yet why people think it's so awful for us to have kids. Most people I know only have 2 or 3 which is pretty average and seeing as how most people are in the military during the prime ages for having kids it makes sense they have them while they or their spouse are in. And she thinks that the military is paid so great for easier positions...well that made me laugh because it was so ridiculous. Whatever...she doesn't know what she's talking about and just put it out there for the world to see what a moron she is.

I think you need to relax. Military personnel are under paid. I don't know where you are getting your information from. Yes you could die on any job site but there is a higher chance of dying at war. And a lot of the positions in the military are very technical. I really think you should study up on the military branches and what all it takes before you rant and rave about what some wife is doing.

First off, the term "civilians" is just a term used for those not in the military. It has NOTHING to do with thinking they are better than everyone else. You are sadly mistaken to think that military wives think they have it harder than anyone else. You're generalizing here. You're taking the opinion of one or a few women and making it out to be that all military wives think that way. It's not true.LMAO @ you thinking that military personell make a lot more money than the average person. If you average the hours that they work, with their pay....they make about minimum wage sweet heart, or less than minimum.Remember, military personell do work 24/7. You obviously know just about nothing conserning the military.LOL @ you thinking that the military gets paid extra money per child that they have, ie: your statement "they get more money for breeding".You really are clueless, aren't you.? That ended many, many years ago hon.The military does not get paid extra money for having children.Where are you getting that the military is pissed off at civilians for standing up for themselves? The military is pissed because people like you are claiming to know so much about them, but yet you actually know nothing about them or their jobs in the military.Wouldn't it piss you off if someone who actually knew nothing about you or your job was telling you just what you should do in your job?It would piss most people off.Military personell do not think they are better than everyone else. Yet,another generalization by you.If you and your husband don't want to join the military, that is your right. But for you to sit here and judge the military and their families,is just wrong. You don't know what you are talking about. Why would you "pray" for the military wives to be sent overseas? That is quite disturbing. Are you going to take care of their children while they are there? I doubt it. What kind of person are you that you would "pray" for that? Your entire statement has been nothing but generalizations on something you obviously know nothing about.I advise that you research before you make statements like what you've just made. You couldn't be more wrong. I pity your ignorance.

Out of every group of people there will be some whiny, sniveling uncapable people. The job of "military wife" is hard as you well know, not all are cut out for it. I agree about the job thing but also recognize that a career is hard to accomplish when your husbands job has you moving yearly or so.

Wow. It looks like she's looking to shock people and get some attention. She's probably not old enough to know how awful this is. Probably some "military wives" have been mean to her or something, or she is reacting to pressure to join?

I wouldn't worry about this, I have never heard of anybody else with this point-of-view and don't think it's a wide-spread problem. I know many passionate anti-war people who all hold our soldiers and their families in extremely high regard - the highest.

I'd ignore her, this is a stupid rant.

You make no sense and have got us confused. First off why are you exposing this lady's myspace on yahoo answers? She has a right to have a page where she can speak her mind. Apparently she made her myspace private today and there is no access to it. Do you have anything to do with that?

If you think that military wives are uneducated and just baby machines you are so wrong my dear and I feel sorry for you.
Respect others so they can respect you.
From everything you said you and your outrageous discrimination you do not deserve one bit of my respect.

Shame on you.

No, I'm not "appauled" her comments.

So we're overpaid and our jobs are easy according to you... good to know.

So, when you get done serving in Iraq/Afghanistan in a combat arms unit, your opinion might mean something to the rest of us.
