No. if you were evil, you wouldn't be feeling remorse. You are perhaps naughty or wicked, but not evil.
What type of hurt? if you're scared of him, then you could get another identity. But if you're afraid, why have your daughter talk to him and not pretend like you're both dead?
If it's just a silly game of revenge, it's very wrong to bring your daughter into it. If your daughter lies for you, she will lie to you. Apologize to your daughter, and tell her that was the wrong thing to do.

He rolled over on it during his sleep and got stuff everywhere.
one time my biology partner wouldn't participate with the dissecting of a fetal pig. So I took all the used fetal pigs home with me and put all their guts into a shoe box and left them on his doorstep.

ur not evil. but maybe getting ur daughter to lie for you wasnt such a good idea. what will it look like, if he ever finds out the truth?
