Lock the keys in the car, the windows are up, and I have no spare. The cops in our neighborhood don't carry slim jims...what now?

Contact a Dodge dealer and give them the VIN number, after confirming it is your truck they can whip up a new key for you. I learned about this by accident when I locked the keys in my moms 1993 Chrysler Concorde.

Come on people. Call the nearest tow company. they have to open locked cars all the time, and are cheaper than a locksmith. If you have roadside assistance it will be free.

Dodge truck? Would take me about 15 seconds. And never let anyone use a slim Jim on anything newer than 1980, or you risk lots of damage. consider what's in the door...motors, wires...

Your local Dodge dealer has a tool that can open your door for you. It's similar to using a wire hanger, but their version is specifically designed for the purpose. They can also cut you a new key at a cost to you. This will require you to tow the car to the dealer or bring proof of ownership to cut a key.

You can call a locksmith.

Lastly, use a brick and buy a new window afterwards.

The best thing to do is probably to call a locksmith. They can usually open your vehicle in minutes and only charge around $50 to do it. The other option is to break a window or tear up your door trying to use a coat hanger or something to get to the lock. Both of these options are going to damage your vehicle and cost you more than the $50 that the locksmith is going to charge to open your vehicle for you.

Wire hanger !
94 -02 are the easiest to brake into. Just get down underneath behind the manual lock and lift up. If you have a rear sliding window you can try open that up too and slide threw.

Tell some knucklehead that you think you saw money in the truck; you'll be in it in the time it takes for him to pick up a rock and put it through the side window.
Otherwise-
Keep a spare key hidden for next time, because YOU WILL do this again!!

Get a spare made and keep it in a secret place under the truck-like the inner side of the bumper, innser side of the fender, heck put it in the frame.... i have
