I want to be a pilot when i am older but i want to know more of what it is like in the RAF, do you need 20/20 vision to be a pilot?

I'm not a pilot in the RAF, but I was a Nav in the USAF, and have worked closely with RAF crews throughout my career.
With the new equipment programs coming on line, the next few years should be a GREAT time to join the RAF: Typhoon, C17s, and a possible Apache buy (though these might go to the army). Also if the RN's plans come to fruition, they will have two new carrier battlegroups.
Anyway, I believe that yes, current requirement for entry into pilot training is 20/20 uncorrected vision, good depth perception, and no color blindness.
Probably your best way to check is to stop by a recruiter and ask about it. Another option is to contact an OTC

pretty much the same as the USAF
